Payment integration
Bank API integration for bank transfer payments in your booking engine
Let customers and agents pay for flights, hotels and tours by bank transfer to your own account. The booking waits as pending, your team confirms it once the funds clear, and the payment is recorded against the reservation.
- Bank transfer at checkout
- Pending until funds clear
- Payment recorded on the booking
- Direct bank API as custom work
How it works
Bank transfer is a ready payment method in PHPTRAVELS
Bank Transfer sits in the PHPTRAVELS payment gateway list next to Stripe, PayPal, Adyen and the agent wallet. It is an offline method: there is no card processor in the middle, so the customer sends the money to your bank account and your team confirms the booking when it arrives. If you need a live connection to your bank's own API, for example to match incoming transfers automatically, that is available as custom development on top of the same booking flow.
- Enable Bank Transfer in the payment gateways section of the admin
- Add your account name, bank, IBAN or account number and transfer instructions
- Customers choose bank transfer at checkout and receive your details
- Mark the booking as paid once the transfer reaches your account
- The booking is confirmed and the voucher or ticket is sent
- Payment method

Your bank name, account holder, account number or IBAN and notes shown to the customer after choosing bank transfer.
Booking reference
Customers quote the booking number in the transfer, so your team can match the payment to the right reservation.
Pending status
The reservation is held as unpaid, so vouchers and tickets are not issued before the money arrives.
Manual confirmation
Staff check the bank statement and mark the booking as paid from the admin.
Payment record
The amount, method and date are stored against the booking and appear in invoices and reports.
Next to card gateways
Offer bank transfer beside Stripe, PayPal or a regional gateway, so customers pick the method they trust.
