Module map

The platform in four layers

Every PHP travel booking system feature sits in one of four layers. Booking products sell the trip, trip services complete it, marketing tools bring the traveller back, and the platform layer runs underneath all of them.

The Platform overview page explains how the layers fit together as a product, the Live demo lets you click through every module, and Pricing lists what each licence plan includes. Below, each layer links to the page of every module inside it.

Every tile is a page. Hover or focus a tile for the module name, or use the directory below.

  1. 0111 modules

    Booking products

The modules a traveller books: flights, stays, tours, cars, cruises, ferries, rail, trains, buses, umrah packages and group tours.

  2. 024 modules

    Trip services

What completes a trip after the main booking: visa requests, travel insurance, eSIM data plans and an AI trip planner.

  3. 035 modules

    Marketing and content

Offers, blog, newsletter, CMS pages and storefront themes, so the website sells and ranks without a second system.

  4. 044 modules

    Platform layer

Supplier integrations, the technology stack, mobile apps and the admin panel that every module above runs on.

Directory

Every module and platform page

The same four layers as the map, as a link directory. Each page describes the module's search widget, results, admin tools, suppliers and uses.

Trip services

4 pages

Services that are sold alongside a trip or help plan it. They share the same customer account, cart and payment step.

Marketing and content

5 pages

Content and promotion tools built into the admin panel, so an agency runs its website without a separate CMS or mailing tool.

Platform layer

4 pages

The foundation under every module: integrations, technology, native apps and the platform overview.

Booking flow

How one booking moves through the modules

Whatever the product, a booking takes the same path through the platform. The modules differ in what they search and sell; the pricing, payment, confirmation and admin steps are shared.

  1. 01

    Search

The module's widget queries supplier APIs or your own inventory and lists results with filters.

  2. 02

    Price

Markup rules add your margin, the price is shown in the traveller's currency, coupons apply.

  3. 03

    Pay

The traveller pays through a payment gateway, a wallet balance or agent credit on B2B.

  4. 04

    Confirm

The booking is confirmed with the supplier, a voucher or ticket is generated and emailed.

  5. 05

    Manage

Bookings, invoices, refunds and reports live in the admin panel and the customer account.

Shared by every module

These capabilities come from the platform layer, so switching a module on gives it all of them at once.

  • Security

SSL ready, 3D Secure on card payments, external connections reviewed, no backdoors.

  • Payment gateways

Major e-payment gateways with a test mode, and a simple way to add more.

  • Multi-currency

Add, edit or remove currencies and enable or disable any of them.

  • Multi-language

Translate every page and CMS entry, add languages without limit, RTL supported.

  • Reviews

Collect and manage reviews, auto-approve or approve each one yourself.

  • Supplements and extras

Add bookable extras with images and details to any product.

  • Coupons

Percentage or fixed-price coupons, valid for the dates you set.

  • Calendar pricing

Set prices and availability for specific dates across the whole year.

  • Social connections

Link any social profile with its own icon and manage them from the admin panel.

  • Theme engine

Build your own theme or customise any part of the storefront.

Under the hood

A complete PHP booking engine you can read and extend

The platform is also a base for developers, agencies and startups building their own travel system in PHP: the full source code ships with every licence, each module is a separate unit and the stack is documented.

  1. Source code included

Every licence ships with the full source code under a commercial licence. You read every line and host it yourself; modification rights depend on the plan.

  2. Module-based

Each product is its own module with its own routes, views and admin screens, so you enable the ones you sell and leave the rest off.

  3. Modern PHP stack

PHP 8.4 or later with a lightweight routing-and-views architecture, PDO prepared statements, Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js on the front end.

Test every feature before you choose a plan

The online demo runs the full platform with every module enabled. When you are ready, the Pricing page lists the three licences and the Requirements page what your server needs.

FAQ

PHP travel booking system features, answered

Short answers to what agencies ask before they compare modules and plans.

Talk to sales

Booking modules for flights, stays, tours, cars, cruises, ferries, rail, trains, buses, umrah and group tours; trip services such as visas, insurance, eSIM and an AI trip planner; marketing tools including offers, blog, newsletter, CMS and themes; and a platform layer with supplier integrations, payment gateways, multi-language, multi-currency, a B2C website, a B2B agent portal and an admin panel. Every module has its own page in the directory above.

No. Each module can be enabled or hidden from the admin panel, so a hotel-only agency shows stays and a tour operator shows tours and group tours. The modules you leave off stay in the source code and can be switched on later.

Every plan includes the web platform, the source code, installation, self-hosting, supplier API integrations, the B2C site, CMS and reports. The B2B agents portal, unlimited currencies, all themes, code customisation rights, white label and lifetime updates come with the Enterprise plan; the customer wallet and unlimited languages start at Agency. Native mobile apps and the JSON API are add-ons on any plan.

Yes. The B2C website sells to travellers directly, and the B2B agents portal gives sub-agents and resellers their own login with markups, credit limits, commissions and reports. The portal is part of the Enterprise plan.

Yes. You can add languages without limit, including right-to-left ones, translate every page and CMS entry, and enable the currencies you sell in. The Startup plan runs in English and a single currency; Agency adds unlimited languages; Enterprise adds unlimited currencies.

PHPTRAVELS ships its full source code under a commercial licence, so you self-host it and read and modify it for your own business, with modification rights depending on the plan. It is not published under a public open-source licence. A nulled copy is not safe: it carries no security patches, no support and no legal right to use the software.
