Travel portal development company

Travel portal development on a platform you own

PHPTRAVELS is self-hosted travel booking software. You licence it once, connect the suppliers you already contract, and run a B2C site — and, on Enterprise, a B2B agent portal — from one admin panel.

  • B2C, B2B, B2B2C and white-label
  • Flights, hotels, tours, cars, visa
  • GDS and supplier APIs you contract
  • Source code on every licence

Definition

What travel portal development includes

A travel portal is the website where a travel business sells inventory it does not have to own. Travellers, or agents, search flights, hotels, tours, cars and related services, see a price with your markup, pay, and receive a voucher. Behind that page sit supplier connections, commercial rules, and a back office that keeps the booking, the invoice and the customer in one record.

Travel portal development here starts from the Platform overview, which already includes search, booking, payments, the admin panel and the modules. Every licence includes the B2C storefront described on Online travel agency software. Businesses that sell through sub-agents add the B2B travel portal, which ships on the Enterprise licence.

PHPTRAVELS has built this platform since 2014. The site states 4,800+ agencies and 5 million bookings, as of September 2026. About us introduces the company, and Success stories shows agencies running the product.

Four layers of a travel portalThe same installation, from the page a customer sees down to the record your team works from.
  1. Channels

The B2C website, and on Enterprise the B2B agent portal. White-label removal of the Powered by link is an Enterprise licence term.

  2. Booking core

Search, availability, your markup, checkout and payment. One booking record feeds vouchers, invoices and reports.

  3. Supplier connections

GDS, bed banks, activity and car suppliers, and payment gateways. You sign the contract and enter your own credentials.

  4. Back office

Admin panel for content, markups, bookings and reports. Partner hotels can update rooms from the extranet described on the central reservations page.

Business models

B2C, B2B, B2B2C and white-label

These are deployment modes of one PHPTRAVELS licence, not four separate products. The plan decides which modes are included.

  • B2C travel portal

Travellers search and book on your domain. The storefront, CMS, reports and a fixed markup ship on every licence, including Startup. Startup is English and a single currency. Agency and Enterprise add unlimited languages with RTL.

B2C storefront: every licence, from Startup at the price on the pricing page.

    Online travel agency software

  • B2B travel portal

Sub-agents and resellers book at your net rates, with their own logins, credit and commissions. The pricing matrix includes the B2B agents portal on Enterprise only. Agency adds the customer wallet; Startup does not.

    B2B agents portal: Enterprise licence.

    B2B travel portal

  • B2B2C distribution

You sell to travellers and to agents who resell to their own customers, from one installation. Flights, hotels, tours, transfers and cars can be sold from that installation. The agent tools that make the B2B half work are the Enterprise portal.

Storefront on every plan. Agent distribution on Enterprise.

    Agency management software

  • White-label portal

Your logo, colours and brand are applied on every plan. Enterprise removes the Powered by link, includes code customisation rights, all themes, unlimited domains and unlimited currencies. Startup and Agency are a single domain and a single currency.

Full white-label removal and code rights: Enterprise.

    White-label B2B travel portal

Plan differences, including markup type, languages, currencies, support times and add-ons, are on Pricing. This page does not restate a price that the pricing page does not publish.

Suppliers

GDS, supplier APIs and payments

The connectors are part of the product. The commercial relationship with each supplier is yours. PHPTRAVELS does not provide GDS or bed-bank credentials.

Hotels, activities and cars

Hotel supply in the directory includes Hotelbeds, RateHawk, Booking.com, Agoda and Stuba. Activities include Viator and Tiqets. Cars include CarTrawler and Discover Cars. You sign with the supplier, test in their sandbox, then go live.

Payment gateways

Card gateways in the directory include Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, Flutterwave, Paystack, Cashfree, MyFatoorah, Fawaterk and xMoney. Wallet balance is a platform settlement option, separate from those gateways.

The live list is All integrations. A supplier added in the product admin appears there without a new page on this site. Names above are suppliers in that directory, not a promise that every one is switched on for every plan.

Who operates it

Admin, agent and supplier panels

A travel portal is three workplaces, not only a shopfront. Each one is for a different person.

  1. 01

    Admin panel

Your team runs the installation: modules, markups, bookings, CMS pages, reports and supplier credentials. The admin panel is part of every licence, together with the web booking platform.

    Platform overview

  2. 02

    B2B agent portal

Agents sign in, search at their rates, book against credit or wallet, and track commission. This portal is on the Enterprise licence. Agency includes the customer wallet; the agents portal itself does not.

    B2B travel portal

  3. 03

    Partner extranet

Contracted hotels sign in to update rooms, rates and availability under your markups. That extranet is described on the central reservations page, on the stays module. It is not a login for airlines or GDS suppliers.

Process

How travel portal development runs

The work splits in two. Platform setup is a published window on the pricing page. Anything unique to your rules is custom development, scoped in hours after you own a licence.

  1. Choose the model

B2C only, B2B agents, or both. That choice is the licence: Startup or Agency for a storefront, Enterprise when you need the agents portal, white-label removal, code rights or unlimited currencies.

  2. Pick the modules

Flights, stays, tours, cars, visa and the others you will actually sell. Unused modules can stay off. You are not building a new module to have a booking site.

  3. Connect suppliers you contract

List the GDS, bed banks, activity and car suppliers, and the payment gateway. You bring the contracts. We point each one at a connector that already exists, or scope a missing one as custom work.

  4. Brand, domain and payments

Logo and colours on every plan. Your domain: one on Startup and Agency, unlimited on Enterprise. Gateway credentials go in the admin, next to the supplier keys.

  5. Test, then open the site

Use the public demo to walk the storefront, the agent side and the admin before you order. After setup, search a supplier in their sandbox, book a test, and check the voucher and the invoice.

Cost

What decides the cost

PHPTRAVELS publishes three one-time licence prices in US dollars. A custom project range is not published, and this page does not invent one.

  • Which licence

Startup, Agency or Enterprise. The price is paid once for the software, the install and the source code. It is not a monthly platform fee.

  • Whether you need B2B

A B2C site can start on Startup. Sub-agents, white-label removal, code customisation, unlimited currencies and unlimited domains are Enterprise.

  • Mobile apps and the JSON API

Both are add-ons on every plan. Their prices are not printed on the pricing matrix, so they are quoted when you ask. They are not included in the three licence figures.

  • Rules that are yours alone

A markup the matrix cannot express, a supplier with no connector, or an approval flow for your desk is custom work. It is quoted in hours on top of the licence.

Startup

$2,499

B2C site, admin panel, source code, self-hosted, one domain, English, one currency, fixed markup. Setup in 7 to 10 business days. No B2B portal.

Agency

$4,999

Startup, plus the customer wallet, unlimited languages with RTL, fixed and percentage markups, and rush setup in 1 to 2 business days. Still one currency, one domain, and no B2B portal.

Enterprise

$9,999

Adds the B2B agents portal, white-label removal, code customisation, all themes, unlimited currencies and domains, lifetime updates, and rush setup in 4 to 6 hours.

The three figures are the one-time licences on Pricing. Support response is 4 to 6 days on Startup, 2 to 3 days on Agency, and within 24 hours on Enterprise. Ongoing maintenance is an Enterprise term.

Comparison

PHPTRAVELS or a custom build

Both are real options. The licence is a finished booking platform. A custom build starts from a specification and has no published price or duration on this site.

When the workflow itself is the product, Custom travel solutions is the engagement. When you need a booking portal with known modules and your own supplier contracts, Travel software development on this licence is the path the pricing page sells.

Next step

See the portal before you commission it

The demo is public. Pricing is public. A call is for mapping your suppliers and your model onto a licence, and for quoting hours where the standard modules stop.

Bring the suppliers you already work with and the channel you want to sell on. Talk to sales is that conversation. Nothing on this page is a substitute for the plan table.

FAQ

Questions about travel portal development

Short answers from the product as it is sold. Prices and setup times match the pricing page.

Talk to sales

It is the work of putting a bookable travel website into operation: the shopfront, the booking engine, supplier connections, payments, and the admin that runs them. On PHPTRAVELS that work starts from a self-hosted licence rather than an empty project.

B2C is the traveller-facing site, included on every licence. B2B is the agent portal, on Enterprise. B2B2C is both, from one installation. White-label branding (logo and colours) is on every plan; removing the Powered by link, code customisation and unlimited domains are Enterprise.

Flights, hotels and stays, tours, cars, visa, cruises, ferries, buses, trains, rail, Umrah, insurance and eSIM, plus CMS, blog, newsletter and offers. You enable the modules you sell. Supplier coverage depends on the connectors you switch on and the contracts you hold.

It includes connectors for those GDS, and for other flight, hotel, activity, car and payment suppliers listed in the integrations directory. It does not include the supplier contract or the credentials. You sign with the supplier and enter your own keys in the admin.

Platform setup, from order to a working installation, is 7 to 10 business days on Startup, 1 to 2 business days rush on Agency, and 4 to 6 hours rush on Enterprise. Custom development is extra and is scoped in hours after you own a licence.

Three one-time licences are published. Startup is $2,499. Agency and Enterprise are the two higher prices shown on this page and on the pricing page. Mobile apps, the JSON API and custom hours are quoted separately. Supplier fees are between you and the supplier.

When the booking workflow itself is what you are selling, and the standard modules cannot express it. PHPTRAVELS can still be the base: custom hours are scoped on top of a licence, in 8-hour blocks paid in advance. A ground-up build has no published price here.

Yes. The live demo opens the storefront, the B2B side and the admin without a sales call. Use the demo to follow one booking from search to voucher, then book a call if you want the modules mapped to your suppliers.
