API development service
Custom API integration for any supplier or partner API
When a supplier, payment processor or partner system is not in the ready integration list, our developers connect its API to your PHPTRAVELS platform, on the same search, booking and cancellation flow as every other source.
- REST, SOAP, XML and JSON
- Quoted before work starts
- Daily progress reports
- Source code delivered
How it works
A custom API connector, built into your platform
PHPTRAVELS ships ready modules for many flight, hotel, car, tour and payment APIs. Custom API integration covers the rest: a regional bed bank, a local consolidator, a ground handler, a proprietary payment processor or your own back-office system. Our developers read the API documentation, build against its sandbox and plug the connector into the existing booking flow, so its results get your markups, payments, agent rules and logs without a separate project.
- Check the integrations list first, in case a ready module already exists
- Send the API documentation, sandbox access and the operations you need
- Receive the cost and timeline from our project manager
- We build and test on the sandbox, with daily progress reports
- Switch to production credentials and receive the tested source code

Normalised results
A new API, the same results your customers already know
Whatever format the supplier returns, the connector maps it to PHPTRAVELS results with prices, policies and status.

Shared booking flow
Search, price check, booking, voucher and cancellation run through the same flow as the ready modules.
Content and code mapping
Supplier cities, hotels, airports, room types and statuses mapped to your platform's own codes.
Any protocol
REST or SOAP, XML or JSON, API keys, OAuth or session tokens, handled inside the connector.
Timeouts and safe retries
Booking calls are retried safely, so a slow supplier response does not create a duplicate reservation.
Request logs
Requests, responses and errors recorded in the admin for support, audits and supplier certification.
Your connector code
The finished connector is delivered as source code and runs in your own installation.
Project lifecycle
From API documentation to live bookings
The stages every custom integration goes through, with you informed at each one.
Brief
You share the API documentation, sandbox access and the operations to support.
Review
Our project manager and developers review the API and send the cost and timeline.
Build
The connector is written against the sandbox and wired into the booking flow.
Test
Search, booking, cancellation and error cases are tested end to end.
Certify
If the supplier requires certification, test bookings and logs are prepared for it.
Go live
Production credentials are switched on, and bugs in the delivered work are fixed free of charge.
What we connect
Suppliers, payment processors and business systems
Any API with documentation and test access can become a source or a service in your platform.
Travel supplier APIs
Flight, hotel, car, tour, transfer and rail suppliers without a ready module, such as RezLive or AerTicket.
Payment processors
A regional or proprietary gateway in the same checkout, with refunds and reconciliation against each booking.
Partner and business systems
CRM, accounting, ERP or your own in-house services, connected through their APIs.
Back office
Run the new source from the same admin
A custom connector inherits the admin tools every PHPTRAVELS supplier already has.
Markups and commissions
Per supplier, product or channel, as fixed amounts or percentages.
B2B agents
Agents book the new supplier at their own rates and pay from credit or wallet.
Sandbox and live
Turn the supplier on or off and switch between test and production credentials.
Supplier references
Every booking stores the supplier's reference for support and reconciliation.
Alerts
Notifications for failed bookings, price changes at checkout and supplier errors.
Reports
Bookings, margins and payables per supplier, ready to export.
Compare
A standalone API project vs a PHPTRAVELS connector
Some teams hire a developer to wire an API into a website on its own. This is typically what that involves, next to a connector built into PHPTRAVELS.
| Area | Standalone build | PHPTRAVELS |
|---|---|---|

FAQ
Custom API integration questions
What travel companies ask before ordering a new connector.
Talk to salesIt is development work that connects an API without a ready PHPTRAVELS module, such as a regional supplier, a payment processor or an in-house system, so it runs on the same booking flow, admin and reports as your other sources.
Check the integrations page first. If the supplier already has a ready module, you enable it and add your credentials. If it is not listed, its connector is built as custom development.
Most APIs with documentation and test access: REST or SOAP, XML or JSON, with API keys, OAuth or session tokens. The supplier must also give you your own account and credentials.
By business hours. After reviewing your brief we send the cost and timeline; work is paid in prepaid 8-hour blocks and the final cost follows the actual hours. A PHPTRAVELS licence is needed first, starting with Startup one-time.
It depends on the API documentation, the operations you need and whether the supplier requires certification. Your quote includes the timeline, and daily reports show progress.
Yes. You receive the complete source code of the delivered work in your own installation. Modifying the platform source yourself is included in the Enterprise plan; on other plans our team makes further changes.
