Say goodbye to Flight Low-fare Search…
For months, we’ve been hinting about the eventual decommission of Flight Low-fare Search, one of our oldest APIs. Today, we’re officially announcing that Flight Low-fare Search will be decommissioned on May 28, 2020.
And hello to Flight Offers Search!
Flight Low-fare Search will be replaced by Flight Offers Search, our improved flight search API which returns the same extensive flight data as the previous API, but includes several additional features:
- Flight Offers Search is the first step in the flight booking flow. It can be used with Flight Offers Price and Flight Create Orders to create a flight booking engine.
- Advanced functionalities like multi-city search and one-way combinable fares.
- A POST method for more complex and personalized flight search.

Will this affect other APIs?
Flight Inspiration Search and Flight Cheapest Date Search have been updated to return links to Flight Offers Search instead of Flight Low-fare Search so you can help your users seamlessly move from inspiration to flight search.
Migrate to Flight Choice Prediction 2.0
Flight Choice Prediction is one of our Artificial Intelligence APIs and applies a machine learning model to the response of Flight Low-fare Search to determine with the highest historical probability of being selected by the user. Flight Choice Prediction 1.0 will be decommissioned on May 28, 2020 alongside Flight Low-fare Search.
If you’re currently using the v1 to optimize your flight search, migrate to Flight Choice Prediction 2.0 which offers the same functionality with Flight Offers Search.
