How to boost Travel Agency with Vlogging

Living in a digitized world, we often come across different concepts like blogs and vlogs. Vlogging is an activity in which a person keeps a record of their daily life by making different videos. These videos can be both short or long depending on the interests of the vlogger and the type of content he or she likes to create and share. After these videos have been successfully made and edited, they are usually uploaded on a social media platform, for example, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube that is kept public for others to view.

Vloggers usually tend to set a particular theme of the videos that they make and it is really important to set that particular theme because it sets the entire tone for the video but most importantly, it differentiates that one vlogger from so many other vloggers out there. Some of the examples of these themes include food, fashion, makeup, lifestyle, social issues, education, and travel.

Making travel-related vlogs can sometimes turn out to be a really big challenge for the vloggers because as compared to food or maybe lifestyle, a travel vlogger has to make sure that he or she is not restricted to one particular geographical area. After all, making travel vlogs is all about exploring new destinations and keeping your viewers updated and entertained.

Travel vlogs can also sometimes result in the vlogger being emotionally, physically and financially exhausted because the vlogger is always on the go. However, travel vlogs can help different travel agencies generate more business.

The vlogging industry is getting bigger day by day and people generally believe bloggers and vloggers because they believe that they are authentic and the fact that what they are saying is the truth. Since people tend to rely upon what these vloggers say, they end up making their decisions on the experience of the vlogger.

People tend to watch travel vlogs because they want to hear real-life stories of the vlogger, they want to know about the reviews of different travel destinations, they want to learn about different experiences of the vlogger or they want to get a general idea of that particular travel destination before actually visiting the place themselves. This also helps the vlogger in growing their page because they end up getting a greater number of likes, comments, shares, and subscriptions.

A study conducted recently showed that travel vlogs get four more times the engagement as compared to a regular vlog. Another study that was conducted showed that 48 percent of the people who are looking for different travel destinations get their ideas through Instagram posts and 52 percent of them get their ideas from Facebook posts that are shared by their friends.

This is a positive thing for the travel agencies because more the people want to travel, the more they will reach out to travel agencies to finalize their trip and take care of all the little things like flights, bookings and hotel reservations.

Travel vlogs can be further classified for example some vloggers make videos about different exotic regions of the world, for example, Egypt, some vloggers may make videos about the hustle and bustle, and the busy lifestyle of all the big cities of the world, for example, New York or Lahore.

Further categories can include making videos about different cultures and exploring new cuisines, for example, going for a wine tasting in Italy or making videos about experiencing risky adventures, for example, going for sky diving. These sub-categories help the viewer to make a better decision when planning out their trip.

The high-quality videos made by the travel vloggers usually highlight different cultures, histories, fashions, and trends over the globe, they also help a person decide which hotel they want to stay in or which airline they want to book for their flights. After such decisions have been made and the customer decides to reach out to a travel agency, it may eventually help in creating positive word of mouth for the travel agency itself as the customer will be satisfied with their trip as he/she knew exactly what they wanted from their trip.

This also helps create a massive advantage for the travel agency to plan the trip for their client exactly the way they want which can help to avoid all those little things that can potentially create inconveniences for their customers.

Sometimes travel agencies collaborate with different vloggers. That helps them to indirectly advertise their travel agency through that vlogger. For example, if a vlogger posts an interesting video on YouTube about a particular travel destination and at the end of the video talks a little about the travel agency and puts up their logo, all the people who will view that video will consider availing the services being offered by that particular travel agency.

This can help the travel agency with getting more clients and creating healthy, long term relationship with them. This can also help the travel agency to create more brand awareness in the market about themselves and help it to explore new untapped markets and attract potential customers.

This will give the travel agency a competitive edge. Travel vlogs can also indirectly help travel agencies with promoting new travel destinations. As they promote new travel destinations, their clients will feel inclined towards exploring them and hence availing the services being offered by the travel agency.
